The Educator Advancement Council is seeking new Council Members to fill vacant positions.
We are currently recruiting applicants for three positions. Open seats include:
Educator Preparation Provider Representative
Education-focused Non-Profit Representative
School District Superintendent
As a Member, you will:
Help influence statewide policy and investment decisions that directly impact Oregon’s educators and students
Collaborate with leaders and partners from across the state during a two‑year term
Bring your ideas, experiences, and community perspective to a statewide table
Participate in monthly meetings (virtual and in-person)
Visit innovative schools and programs across Oregon to learn from local educators and communities
Facilitate communication and feedback from educators and partners to support improved professional learning and support systems

When open positions are available, applicants will be asked to submit a short application. Applications will be evaluated for:
Alignment with the EAC’s mission, values, and purpose
Experience and perspectives that complement the current Council
Understanding of Oregon’s educator workforce needs
