The Educator Advancement Council is a coalition of education partners that convene to align, coordinate and improve a statewide system of professional development and support for educators throughout Oregon.

Educator Advancement Council members bring deep experience, diverse perspectives, and a shared commitment to strengthening Oregon’s educator workforce. Council members are collaborative leaders with demonstrated expertise in K–12 education, educator preparation, community engagement, tribal partnership, early learning, or professional learning systems. They understand the complexities of Oregon’s educational landscape and contribute practical insight into how policies affect educators, students, and communities.

The Council brings together voices that elevate local needs, identify barriers, and champion equitable access to high‑quality professional learning. Council members bring lived experience and professional backgrounds that reflect Oregon’s racial, cultural, geographic, and linguistic diversity.
