Teaching, Empowering, Leading and Learning (TELL) Oregon Survey

From 2014 to 2018, Oregon partnered with the New Teacher Center to collect and analyze data from a statewide survey of educators, open to all licensed, school-based teachers, school personnel, and administrators in the state. Called the Teaching, Empowering, Leading and Learning (TELL) survey, it was designed to measure educator perceptions about the presence of teaching and learning conditions that research has shown to increase student learning and teacher retention. In Oregon, the TELL survey was first launched in 2014 and last conducted in 2018.

After a pause to the survey in 2020 due to the pandemic, the EAC took on coordination of this effort in 2022 and administered the Oregon Statewide Educator Survey in spring 2023.
